Monitor setting question - video input level?

I just bought a Samsung 950p. I notice it has a "video input level" setting with two options, 0.7v and 1.0v. The manual says to check the video card docs for recommended setting. There is nothing that comes with my ATI card (AIW128) that says anything about this. Any idea what I should set this at? I presently have it at 0.7, which is rather bright (brightness all the way down, contrast all the way up) but looks better than 1.0v which looks rather dull. Any ideas folks?
