monitor screen will not stop shaking

hey all, im havin a problem with my monitor, it is a sony g520, and i just carried it over to my neighbors house for a lan. now i turned it on and the screen keeps shaking, its like a wave & shaky picture... it will not stop. the only thing that i could think of that would be affecting the monitor is the fridge, but it is about 10 feet away from it.. I even tried to plug it into its own outlet, but still no luck... could I have dammaged the monitor carrying it over, i never dropped or bumped it though.

please help, asap..

Move it away from the fridge. See if that helps. Is there a power box (ac adapter) near it? Are there any lights near the monitor?

Is is quivering or is there waves going diagonally across the screen? You try a different refresh rate?

You need to put it on a different circuit than any household appliances or large fans (bigger than 12"). It's vibrations in the frequency that are causing the shaking.
