I've asked this in the technical forums nobody answered me....

I have another system which i use to use last year and now i've decided to use it again
the problem is, when i set everything up i get a "No Signal Input" on my monitor screen.
When I power the system on it does no have the post beeping sounds

could it be my PSU?? all the fans are working and the CD rom pops out and everything when i open it
but i don't hear the hard drive spin and i don't hear the post beeps

i've tried 2 monitors that i plug in has no signal input...
i've tried 2 different video card on the system as well....
i've tried leaving it on like that for 10 minutes or so to charge up the PSU and reset it but didn't work....
also tried taking the ram out and re plugged all parts...

I think they meant for you to post in "technical support" instead of "highly technical"

don't do that now though, 2 threads is enough.

Did you try to reset CMOS?

What do you have plugged into the computer?

You should try to run it with just motherboard, cpu, ram, video card, powersupply, kb/mouse and nothing else to see what happens then. If that's still no good, try to take it out of the case and put it on something non conductive to try to rule out if it's a case problem.

If it doesn't run with only CPU, ram, vid card, powersupple, kb/mouse plugged in securely then there's something wrong with one of the parts.

unplug the power, take out the CMOS battery on the motherboard , move a jumper to reset (look in motherboard manual), wait a couple seconds, move jumper back to original spot, place battery back in and see if that helps.

The Highly Technical area is for discussing stuff like how to make water solid at 100C and stuff. Don't post motherboard questions there ;)

To start with, what is the 92mm Tornado plugged into? Better not be powered from the motherboard, they draw too much power.

If I were you, I'd take the motherboard out of the case, lay it on cardboard, and hook up just the bare essentials: video card, one memory module, CPU and heatsink. No keyboard, no mouse, no drives, no case wiring (except the case's Power button). Like in this picture here. Yes, that ugly monitor belongs to me :p

Make sure the board has both the regular ATX power cable and the ATX12V cable hooked up, and see if you can get a video signal or not here.

Look at the motherboard manual, it says where the CMOS jumper is. Set it to reset for 5 seconds and then put it back to normal. No need to remove the battery thats just extra work.
