What is a good place to go for monitor reviews? CNet seems to be the best I can find. They have reviewed a pretty large selection of monitors and some of their reviews are somewhat up-to-date. Does anyone know of other good places to go? Thank you in advance.

ZDNet has a lot of hardware reviews, too, if you browse through their reviews section. Since they're the publisher of many magazines, they'll link you to reviews in all their publications, including PC Magazine, Computer Shopper, etc. PC World also has a lot of reviews for monitors and other retail hardware. To a lesser extent, you can always try and check the manufacturers' websites. A lot of times they link to positive reviews of their products, which do nothing but make you feel better about your purchase, but at least then you know you're reading from a site that reviews monitors and you can see what else they have looked at.

As for reviews being up to date, I wouldn't worry when it comes to monitors. A monitor that's crisp and clear two years ago will still be crisp and clear today if it's new in the box.

Thanks guys. I don't find ZDNet's monitor reviews very useful. Most of them are outdated. A monitor from two years ago may still be sharp just as a two year old CPU may still be fast, but I want to get the best monitor I can for my money. PC World's top 10 list is pretty helpful though. If anyone knows any more places, please let me know.

Thank you
