Monitor reset/refreshes when playing video file.

Hoping that someone can help me.

Sometimes when I start to play a video file, my monitor refreshes just like it does when I change the screen resolution. The monitor makes a clicking sound and the screen flashes as if it is turning on just as it does when I reboot.

It only does this once in a while and it seems like it is not with any particular file type (avi, mpg, divx) or even any particular file.

I have Windows 2000 and am using a 19 Mag monitor (2 months old). I hooked the monitor up to a diffrent system and I cannot recreate the refreshing oddness.

Anyone have any ideas?
