Has anyone found or know of a good online source for Monitor repair? I tried Google and found a few i'm gonna try but thought someone here might have been down this road.

When my old 15" Sony Trinitron crapped out, I went out and got many estimates. Only to find out that it is in fact cheaper to buy a new monitor.

I agree, which is why i would like to try and repair it myself. I have the elecrical repair background, i just need some schematics and/or diagnostic flow-charts.

Just a word of caution...When every you mess with a monitor you have to discharge it, the compasitors store enough energy to kill you. It can take up to 30 days for the energy to discharge after it has been unpluged. Even the process of discharging can be dangerous I once saw a screw driver shoot across a room and stick in a wall when a tech was in the process of discharging one.
