has anyone ever replaced the cable on a monitor - what a pain!

i was thinking about it when i damaged my connector, but i luckily was able to bend the pins back in line... i knew it'd be a pain.

Yes, I have done that, it was not too hard, but the only big problem with it is how expensive those darn cables are! Incredible. Thats why Iam always afraid to take my monitor to lan parties since every trip the cable is beat on by the traveling...on one of these times...
