I have posted about the trouble I am having with my monitor in another thread... Long story short i left it to with my friend for few years, and when I came back it was OVERLY bright to the point where it was an eyesore. Thanks to another knowledgeable member of AT, I was able to open up the casing and turn some knobs to get the monitor closer to its normal operation. Even then it still looks quite bright and washed out like some crappy LCD. The knob I had to turn was tucked in a tight corner, and I have turned it all the way to its limit. To my understanding, it should be fairly easy for a technician to take a look at the monitor and sort out the problem.
Now, is there any place where I could carry this poor beast to bring it back alive? Still new to this area... I live near the Tech
