Been awhile since I've gone monitor shopping--last time was when Dell released the 1905fp, had some coupons, and ended up disapointed. I currently have 2 19's, a 1901FP and a 1905FP, the 1905FP, for some reason, is a piece of crap next to the 1901FP. Lots of adjustments, etc, maybe I got a lemon, but either way I lost confidence in Dell's brand back then.
Of course I want relatively inexpensive, and I'll probably use the 1901FP as a second monitor to whatever I get. Couple guys got the Dell ultrasharp 24" at my office and it SEEMS nice, but I'd like to get some opinions, or maybe a link to 24" comparisons. And no, I don't want one with a crappy screen like the Dell E series have.
Price range on the 27" i'm guessing isn't close to the 24s yet. Also, I recently built a new machine with an 8800GTS--will that card have any problem supporting the resolution on a 24 or 27"?
