Looking for a 23" or 24" monitor with hdmi, dvi and vga connections, not sure if i want to get a tn panel or ips panel. i don't do any gaming if that matters.

Don't want speakers or webcam built into it.

Suggestions ?

Knowing your budget and what your intended use is will help us make a recommendation.

Budget of $150. Use for everything.

At $150 you have all but eliminated IPS screens. Again you may get lucky with a huge price break or promo but generally they are more than $150. I will give you some options later, at work and busy but I am sure others will have some good recommendations.

It's a 1080 TN panel. ^_^
I'd scrape up a few more bucks and spring for a 1200 IPS, if I were you.

Attempting to view a comparison between two monitors via a YouTube video is at best... sub-entertaining
Go to a store and view them side by side, if anything.
YouTube may be fine for some things, but as a vehicle for evaluating image quality, it's lacking.

:colbert: It's your money, spend it however you like.

Bought the Acer posted above from Staples, 3 dead pixels and colors look washed out. Took it back, they gave me another one, it also has dead pixels, i'm counting five this time. Maybe this is a sign.

Dell makes a very good IPS panel. I got one (U2311H that I've had for couple years now). All though I don't use it for gaming i use it for work/photo editing. I got BenQ XL2420TE 144hz TN that I use for gaming. Awesome performance, but I will say not as good picture quality as my IPS.
