I'm looking for a new monitor to replace my EA231WMi (23", 1920x1080, e-IPS panel).

- I prefer something around the 24" size range, and the bigger, the better
- I'd like an IPS panel for the viewing angles and colors
- I want to get something well known for being generally problem free (no major input lag or backlight bleeding problems, for example)
- DisplayPort and HDMI (together) would be a plus
- I will be playing games, so moderate to low input lag is important

I'm currently looking at the HP ZR24W. I would consider the Dell U2410, but I've heard numerous reports of problems - does anyone know if they've been improved with later revisions?

Any other suggestions?

Not sure if it's a good deal, but the Dell U2408 (1920x1200, IPS, Displayport, HDMI, HDCP, etc), is $399 on Dell outlet. The U2410 is new at $599 on the main Dell site, so it seems to be 33% off of the new price.

Not sure if I'd recommend that though, as the ZR24W is new at $399 on Amazon all day long, and new > used :) Looks like same basic specs, except the HP sacrifices HDMI :(

Could always cough up the change for the U3011, hehehe :D

Whoa, what?! I've been seeing it for ~$500 everywhere. For $400, I grabbed one.

Thanks! :D

Great price, there is a very active display forum over at [H] if you need detailed information on the HP.
