I just bought the Samsung 955DF 19 inch flat tube monitor, when I have it set to 1024 x 768 and 85 Hertz refresh rate it flickers, but when I set it to 100 hertz it's fine, is it a bad monitor? I would think that 85 should be plenty.
Plus, I had a choice of this one or the ViewSonic A90F 19 inch flat screen, would that have been a better choice? if so I'll trade it.
 
I have a multiple viewsonic a90s. I have 1 flatscreen for myself and 2 normal ones for my other computers. I have had some of them for awhile and they work great. If you dont like what you have the viewsonic is a great monitor. You get what you pay for. If you need other help then email me.
