Ok well, i ordered a second monitor to get a dual monitor setup and one monitor is more dull in color and more blurry than the first monitor i got. They are the same exact make/model. My question is about the second monitor that is connected to the dvi connector. Is this supposed to be not as clear and bright as the one connected to the vga connector? Or is the monitor i got not as good as the first one i got.
 
When I was running a dual CRT setup, I couldn't tell a difference between the VGA and DVI connections. Have you tried switching the monitors to see if the problem still exists?
 
Just swap the connections, and see whether the bluriness stays on the same monitor, or moves along with you switching the cables.
If the latter thing happens, then your graphics card has a poor analog signal on its DVI connector, or your DVI-VGA adapter screws it up. Either problem is much more common than a new monitor being this bad.
