Monitor question

I want to buy a 21'' CRT monitor for my dorm, and I have 2 computers. I believe there are monitors that allow you to hook up 2 computers to the same monitor and then toggle between them. Anyone know what those kind of monitors are called or have a really good one that they would recommend? I also want to be able to watch tv on my monitor, are there monitors with tuners built in or will I need to get an external device? Since I live in a dorm, I must be conservative with space and 2 monitors and a tv would take up half my room. Thanks.

I think you might be looking for a VGA Switch instead. Unless you're an upperclassman, dorm sizes are atrocious, so you may want to consider getting a smaller LCD and a switch instead. Also, dragging CRT's around is a pain.

Well I have a dell with a nice 15'' ultrasharp screen, but it just isn't big enough and i can't use it for my other computer. LCD screens are pricey and really couldn't get one much bigger then my current dell screen. I do believe there are switches that are built in because i think i remember a friend buying one, but if nobody knows of a monitor that has it i will look into the switches, Thanks.

I have a 19 inch Sony G420S flatscreen monitor. I bought it around November 2002. Not only does it have built in speakers, but it has 2 monitor inputs and has a select input device on the front part of the monitor. I'm sure Sony makes 21 inch monitors with dual inputs.
