Monitor question - P1110 vs. E540

I'm looking at getting a new (or used/refurb) 21" monitor, and I've decided i want a Sony FD Trinitron... But in looking around, I have come up with a question I can't answer, not having seen the monitor in question. How does the P1110 (Dell branded) compare with a Sony-branded E540? is there a visual difference? i want to run 1600x1200 at most, 85hz refresh is fine with me... and apparently both monitors can display taht resolution/refresh combo. I just want to know how the image quality compares. If anyone has seen both of these monitors, or the P1110, (i've seen the E540) I would appreciate some input. I can get a refurb E540 for $335 plus shipping, and the P1110 for $190 plus shipping. Am I going to notice $150 in image quality, or am I better off going with the lower price?
