I have been having eratic temp readings. I know the socket therm isnt much better than the check motor light in cars but mine has been extreemly bad. If I restarted the temp would rise with each boot 86,98,106,118 and then bios protect would kick in. It didnt matter if you waited an hour or 2 seconds between restarts and the temps wouldnt come down. If I shut down for any amount of time at any point in this I would go back to a low temp. This was the same reading with the bios,MBM 4-5 or ViaHardware Mon.🙁
Ok now I did a HS mod and this habit really started to get to me.:|So as a last chance I installed CpuCool and it has stopped?😕I'm not complaining just curious,has anyone else had anything like this? It's an extra bonus in a way because I actualy paid to register it a while back for my old K6 and forgot about it.😱 I'm getting my 13 bucks worth now.🙂
