Hi folks,

I have a 4+ year old ADI 6P (19") monitor and it has been popping once in a while lately. This popping sound is similar to the sound that electrical appliances produce when they suddenly get overloaded. Besides this oddity, I seem to notice that my monitor also dims and brightens at a very fast rate once in a while.

Is this a sign that the monitor is gonna go or a very bad current/electricity flow?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

A popping noise sounds like a flyback problem. That is probably not good. You might start looking for a good sale.

Dang.... I'll definitely be selling this thing soon :(

BTW, what's a "flyback problem"?
