Monitor Problem

I have a 19" belinea CRT monitor, and i was hearing a sound coming from it, like a low whistling ....

i lowered the frequency from 75hz to 70hz and it didn't do it again up till now .. .

however the res is 1024x768 and definitely supports 75hz ...

does anyone know what might be causing the problem ?

Sounds like it is on the way out.

75 hz is low enough not to stress anything...

CRT's usually don't have easy or cheap fixes...

Might be time to ask Santa for a new one............
