monitor problem, any ideas? Plz help

Hey all,
I was messing with my monitor settings and now I can't adust it from 640x480. All other setting adjustments work, but I can't click on and slide the size adjustment bar? Help!

Not sure if this is the problem, but you might want to change the monitor type to "Plug and Play monitor". I remember my friend was having problems with resolution because his settings said "Default Monitor" and then we switched it to plug and play and it worked.
 
Tried updating off internet, no better drivers found and I don't have the disc for my vid card so can't uninstall/reinstall.
 
Just a thought, but when you try to change your resolution in the display properties/settings tab, is your display adaptor listed, or does it say standard display adaptor?

If so, change it in control panel/system/device manager to your display adaptor
