Hi

MY COMP:
1.7ghz willamette
256mb sd 133 p4
40gb 7200rpm
32mb tnt2 riva
14"crt monitor bought in 1994

When i attach my monitor to my old p1 it supports 1027*768.But not with this system, why, can i do anything about it?Can i correct it?

Also is there any way that i can run my apps and games in xp at 640*480,those that support only 1024*768 from the video setup. On clicking on properties of the app there is a choice but even with it i couldn't make it correct.
What should i do?
I can't buy a new montior now?

If you can scrape together $50 you might be able to find a used 17" crt. That thing you've got is ancient and begging to be allowed to retire 😛 Only thing that pops into my head is maybe you have the refresh rate set too high for it in 10x7?

So ... on your computer, do you get an option in the display properties to make the resolution 1024*768?

If you dont, you need to get drivers for that tnt2..
