Monitor & Printer help

Currently I own a Dell. I know, so you can stop laughing. I am building my new rig, and then it hit me. Will my Dell monitor & Dell printer be compatible with anything that isn't a Dell product??? If it's not compatible, my budget has now been crushed....Please bring me good news. Please tell me I can keep them.....

Of course! If you're building a new system. Installing Windows or Linux O/S's, will recognize majority of monitors and printers, and your Dell's fit in that category.

Thank you for the good news. You can never trust Dell, but at least my budget isn't broken.
