What's the point of the poll? ;)
Most modern monitors do 1600x1200 at 85 Hz

This is like asking "Large HD or fast HD"? Well, both. 120 GB 7200 8 MB buffer.

A 2 year old monitor with 1600x1200 @ 85Hz, not that modern, does high res/refresh though.

Exactly. I have a 3-year old 19" Sony which I overclock to 85Hz at 16x12. PowerStrip rocks.

No they don't.

OK, include the words 19" and above in my post.

They still don't. Most are 1280x1024 - 85hz, usually 75Hz at 16x12.

Stop buying crappy monitors :)
This is why I voted "Results/Don't Care/etc".
And you can use PowerStrip to "overclock" your monitor by an extra 5-10 Hz "safely".
