Hello,
Having a problem with my monitor settings, I keep on getting a black screen with small blue box that says my monitor is
"out of range" says 30Khz-70Khz for Horizontal and 50HZ-160Hz for Vertical Range, Current Freq: HR 80.0KHZ Ver 75Hz.
So...my horizontal setting is over, how do I bypass these settings when XP is loading? I saw somewhere you could hold down "X" key to bypass settings at startup.

I've already tried booting into safe mode and changing the settings, but that is not working.

Win XP Pro, CRT 17", GF2PRO not OC.....

TIA

press F8 after your motherboard posts, then try "VGA mode" or safe mode.
