Hello all-
I have a Compaq S910, 19" monitor that I bought from a worthless sack of $#!^ on eBay. It is 'fuzzy,' not in focus. I have opened it up (it's been six months since it had power, save the 'you're gonna die' speech
) but could not find anything as useful as a focus pot.
Instead, I found around a dozen rings around the end of the tube. They can be twisted to adjust something but I can't see any difference from the minor twiddling that I did.
Does anyone:[*]have a technical manual for the Compaq S910 monitor?
[*]know enough about correcting focus that he or she can walk me through it?
[*]or, know of a cheapish place on the net to get a monitor refurbed?
My wife is stuck with her little laptop screen, so I figure that the sooner I can get this thing fixed, the sooner she'll stop coveting my 21" (no smart comments here)
