Monitor OSD pops up with flash?

It seems if I use the beta IE9 with the Adobe Flash 10.2 that is made for IE9, if I view videos from You Tube, my monitor "Brightness" adjuster (OSD) will pop up for a few seconds then disappear randomly throughout the video... I don't remember having any issues any other times with other applications. Happened maybe 20 times last night watching some music videos. Can there be some code in Flash or IE9 which can interact with my monitor in such a way? I wasn't aware applications could communicate with a monitor in such a way to cause it's OSD to pop up.

Hannspree 27.5" monitor. 281 model number I believe.

Must not be flash. I disabled and its appearing while reading this forum. Sounds like my Hannspree is buggered again (already RMA'd the damn thing a year ago and now this new one has an issue less than a year old).
