I have two identicle computers on my home network accessing a NAS drive. From comp1, I opened a spreadsheet, and info was missing on it. Numbers were not showing up, click in a field and the numbers were not editable or seeable. I went on the web, a few site would not come up properly. Fields and info were missing. I went to comp2, and opened the same file and website, and no problems.

AS a test, I edited a field in the spreadsheet from comp2, saved it, and reopened it on comp1. All the same stuff was missing from the spreadsheet as before, but the part I edited did show up, so it was the same file.

My question is? Would this be a monitor (LCD 2 years old) or a video card (geforce mx2-400, I think). What would cause this?

Are you sure its not a spreadsheet application problem?

To me it sounds more software then hardware. You would not usually get repeatable missing parts of a spreadsheet or the internet if it was hardware. However, if your drivers are out of date, or you have a virus or malware, or adware, any/all of those would more likely cause the problem.

well, the problem did happen on a banking site, but also on a baseball site, as well as the excel spreadsheet. Even Google now, the blank google page, is not correct.
