Just bought a new 6800GT and my monitor also got exchanged with my friend's...We both have Dell P990s with a trinitron tube.

The problem is I can see vertical lines on the bottom left hand corner...Quite a lot of them...and I can notice them when the screen is white...So what seems to be the problem? Old monitor or new Video Card?
 
Did you try a different cable?

If that's not it, of course this is a warranty case, but make sure you collect evidence. Photos/screenshots, if needed videos, and include a tight enough description, including photo prints when you send it back.

We are talking a $400 card here.
