Monitor no longer working in NT 4.0 only?

Here's a strange one... My bosses monitor just suddenly goes blank once her PC boots into Windows NT 4. Video is present until the OS loader leaves the screen, then the monitor blank. It is run through a switchbox, switching it with the other input does not change the situation, it has to be something in the monitor. Has anyone ever seen something like this?😕
 
Sounds like the system is running the monitor out of its scan range. Boot into safe mode and set the system resolution and refresh rate to the monitor manufactures recommended setting.

 
Right, how do you boot into safe mode in NT 4? The option I can seem to get is to boot from the last known good config, and that does no good.:frown:
