monitor mount that allows rotation?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a mount (wall mounted or desk stand, doesn't matter) for my 28' monitor , that will allow me to rotate it onto it's side. i.e. like this:

Does anyone know of any good mounts or other ways to accomplish this? The only mounts I've personally found that are able to do this are all well over $100 🙁

Thanks! Unfortunately though according to the specs the mount only supports monitors up to 24' and weight up to 16lbs. It also claims anything larger than a 23' monitor won't be able to be rotated into portrait mode without hitting the base

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks very much!

Also, I'm a bit confused about the distinction between monitor mounts and TV mounts

Surely you can attach a computer monitor to a TV mount as long as the VESA dimensions match, right?

Ergotron is a pretty good company for monitor stands and mounts. I have this one for my 22" monitor and its rock solid, but it wont handle anything over 24". Problem is, when you start going bigger than 24", the price of the stand goes up exponentially.

Here is one of their products that can handle the weight, but it's a whopping $150. It says rotating 30"-32" screens might be a problem, but I think 28" should be fine. I didn't look at arms or mounts since they seemed even more expensive.
