Monitor keeps shutting off...

I'm having a problem where my monitor keeps shutting off for no apparent reason. It usually occurs when I'm using a browser full screen and load a new page, but it can also happen with other full-screen applications too.

I'm using a Gateway EV900 monitor with Win98se and a GeForce 2 MX card using Detonator 21.81 drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
