Monitor is grumpy

Hey guys my monitor is weirding out on me. The screen will pop and go out half-way then it will be okay. When it happens WinXP makes some chimes and then all is cool until it happens again. I have a Sony GDM F-400, a beatiful monitor, I hope it isn't anything serious.

It is hooked to a voodoo 5 agp
