Monitor Input Problem

My monitor, a Chi Mei 22', will no longer work in the DVI input mode. It works perfectly in VGA mode, although, the resolution is only 1440 x 900, but I'm not able to use the DVI mode anymore. I have a Radeon 3870 card feeding this monitor. The monitor menu will not allow me to change the input to digital and ATI's Catalyst Control Center only sees a "Default VGA Monitor". The problem first appeared while the computer re-booted while loading a program, I pressed "delete" to enter the BIOS menu before the computer re-booted and then received a "No Input" message on the screen. I haven't been able to use the DVI input since that incident. I've tried 3 different DVI cables so I don't believe the cable is the problem. Any thoughts?
