After looking for some good reviews on this monitor i didn't find anything promising. I ended up buying the monitor (two of them) because of some personal experience with the Diamondtron tube (fantastic quality). I was previously using (one) 20" Sony Multiscan 20sf Trinitron monitor and an Apple Studio Display - 21" CRT.

Impressions: Well first thing let me say this - their some friggin heavy azz monitors! Display quality is *great*. Super sharp, defined graphics and text really just couldn't be shaprer. The cabinets are fairly large but not any larger then comparible 20-22" CRT's. The monitor also features something called "Super Bright" mode which can be activated in three stage... Off - Picture - Movie. With each of the selections the colors progressively get brighter. Albeit a bit gimmicky, the feature works well for me as the transition from production to playing games now only requires me to change the SB Mode (SuperBright) to 'Picture' which is the middle of the road. In the past i'd always have to tweak out my brightness manually for games - now i can accomlish the same thing by just a touch of the SB Mode button.

Anyway, to sum things up these are some great monitors. I paid ~$1,200 for two of them shipped from Techonweb.com - and received them within 3 days of my order also!
