Monitor Help!

I just received my new monitor, a Hanns-G 281DPB. I hooked up with the DVI-HDMI cable but there are black bars all around the screen and it is not utilizing the full screen of the monitor. It is set to 1920x1200.

I am stumped to how to get the full screen to be utilized? Help!
