Well, this issue has bugging me for a while, and after some searches turning up nothing, I have come here for assistance.
Basically, upon switching from a D-Sub cable to a DVI, my 19" widescreen monitor has cut off the side of the screen (to describe, the clock in the lower right corner is not on the screen; I can only see the hour). When I move my mouse to the right of the screen, the image scrolls over, revealing the inch previously cut off, but then cutting off the right side and the start button.
The lcd is in its native resolution (1440x900), although after replugging the cables, it gave messages about not being in its native resolution, even though it IS.
I have tried replugging the cords, reinstalling the graphics drivers. The lcd menu does NOT contain options other than color, gamma, brightness, etc.
I'm baffled as to what is wrong, and what to do. Any help would be most appreciated.
