Monitor + H20 = ?

I had a water accident in my house. I had a spare monitor in a closet and water leaked in from the ceiling of the closet. The water got all over and into the monitor. Needless to say, after a day of letting it dry out it doesn't work. Should I just toss it or give it more time to completely dry?
 
Worth a try since it's just a spare monitor and it didn't blow up in your face when it could of been still wet.
