Im noticing right now that the monitor screen seems to be twitching occasionally, the picture will move side to side or bend a little... is the monitor about to go or is somthing wrong with my computer that i should look into, all the drivers are brand new btw and this just started tonight...

Did you move any electrical devices close to it today? It doesn't quite sound like the tube is going it sounds more like interference.

Monitor size/type/maker?

Are you under any high lines? Or near a power substation? It really sounds like some kind of intereference, but a cell phone isn't powerful enough to do it. Most common things are tvs, power lines, sometimes speakers/radios ect..

If it starts up again try changing your refresh rate on your monitor, if thats helps/makes it worse then its not interference. If its still under warrenty and starts doing it again...

When you start to get issues like this it tends to mean the monitor is on it's last legs. I'd suggest looking for a replacment asap, most likely the high voltage stage in your monitor is on it's way out when the symptoms you described happen.

I used to degauss all my school monitors back in high school all the time for that very same reason :p
