In power management properties, under power schemes in Win98, I have my monitor to shut off after 15 minutes. It works great, but it will not come back on when I sit back down to use it. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

the computer must be going to sleep. have you tried pushing your power button? my case has a sleep button, it just happens to be the same as the power button, its worth a try.

Windows power management sometimes have some funky problems. I suggest disabling all the power settings in windows, and do all of them in the BIOS

I have had similar problems. A couple of times I gave it a lot of time and I came back and had an error with the screen saver. I turned off the screen saver and haven't had a problem since.

You would think that you could use a microsoft screen saver without a GPF. :)

Could be a stupid question but are you hitting enter on your keyboard and waiting about 5 seconds?
