It is usually fine but every once in a while while im playing games or doing w/e the screen goes black like it goes to sleep but moving the mouse wont do anything and the speakers stop giving sound. then i have to shut the PC down and usually it wont beep once when i turn it back on unless u shake it up a bit.....(the whole tower) could it be wiring or what? and i tried switching monitors it does the same thing so its a problem on the inside. maybe the video card idk..... help?

If you can resolve the problem by physically shaking the computer, then something is loose inside and you should reseat all components and connections in the PC to make sure they are connected properly.

okay, get a program called PC Wizard, check the bios revision with it as well as your memory modules specific info, plus kindly post the voltage readings it receives.

I agree...take everything off & reseat all connections.....especially the vid card.

I do not see a 3.3V reading. that's a puzzle, but now that we know that you have mismatched ram, I'd strip it down and try reseating everything, and if no joy, then test electrical outlet, UPS/Surge Protector, and PSU.
