I want a monitor that has good color quality, LED backlit, 60Hz (I am not interested in 120Hz for non-competitive gaming), and nice ergonomic features like pivot, swivel, and high adjustments. My budget is $350 or less.

The games I play are BF3, Skyrim, Emulators such as PS2, PS1, NDS, GBA, etc, and RuneScape. I plan to run eyefinity in the future, so a thin bezel is preferred. I will be using a CF Radeon 7850 and an i5-2500k with an 850W XFX Silver-rated PSU.

Thanks all!

I will not be playing against players online, so no competitive play. It's simple as that.

The U2312hm can be typically found ~$200 when sales come around; about once a month. The U2412m can be typically found ~$300 when sales come around; about once a month.

Yep. Right now the 2412 is on sale for $329, while the 2312 is not on sale ($299).
