Monitor flickers when playing divx files or when using dscaler

So I got a new video card, but I'm having issues when using dscaler or watching divx files.

Basically, the screen will go black for a second or two, and then go back to normal. Sometimes there is corruption on the screen.

I installed the newest drivers from Nvidia first, then downgraded to the drivers on the cd. No change, screen still flickers.

Any idea? Bad video card?
 
Wow, I was just watching tv using dscaler and I had a BSOD.

Something about the driver being stuck in an infinite loop, nv4.dsp I think.

WTF is going on?
