Win2k says my Dell D1028L monitor has max refresh of 75Hz when I check the box "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display". When I uncheck the box, a new option of 85Hz is added (i.e. I can choose 75Hz or 85Hz).
When I look up the monitor specs at Support @ Dell, it says a factory preset mode of the monitor is 1024x768@85Hz.
So, should I just disregard what Win2k says and use 85Hz? Odd thing is, Linux uses 1024x768@85Hz. I guess Linux is smarter?
