Today is a sad, sad day ....

After 7 months of companionship, my monitor (Sony HMD-200A) crapped out on me ...
Best wishes to it on its trip to the afterlife....

7 months!?! WTF!

God, Sony really sucks these days. I almost laughed a salesperson off the floor recently when he suggested a Sony product to me.

Ugh!

Sorry for your loss, but that is just another confirmation of my suspicion that Sony has been coasting on the reputation behind their name for at least a decade now, all the while building less and less reliable products.

*rant over*

I wish my 20" Sony 20SFII would die so I can get like a G520

dude if found this attached to the power cord:

Dear, Pig

I've been burning with hatred, and, unable to verbalize my feelings in a manner (besides those grunts when u deguass me) in which you would understand, put the matter
aside until I could conjur up a more focused thought to bear.

In a nutshell, you are worthless, get outa the house, get a life, and stop lookin at me.

And another thing, if you want to STAY in the basement all day, go ahead, just count me out!

Just leave me alone.
Your Monitor

RIP
but that's way too young.

My Samsung 950p 19 incher has been plugging away for 2+ years, and before that I had a 14" that lasted me nearly 4 years.

Sony is suck on some of their stuff. Basically only their high end stuff is any good, anything else is crap. Their speakers are a joke too.

<< So how are you typing this message? >>

I am on my roommate's comp right now ...

But this is all a better excuse to jump on some of the sweet lovin' LCD out there :)

Anyone have any recommendations for any LCD's in the $450 range?

Thanks!

You bet!

My recommendation: Stay away from Sony!

(Am I done? I don't know. . . )

i know how you feel... my CTX died after 18months... couldn't afford a nicer one than my stupid PiXie. Surprisingly it's lasted for almost 2 years now. Sometimes I wish it would just die so I can buy a nice Flat Screen!
