I can get them for the same price
I'm using a 755DF right now and I love it.
It would be no contest if the 955DF could do 75HZ @ 1600x1200 like the 95F can.
What do you think??

I just bought the 955df, I love it. I prefer shadow mask as opposed to aperture grill.
Those little lines bug the hell out of me, plus I thing shadow mask are a little sharper. Go with the Samsung.

95F has better stats, and both use same tube I believe. i would go w/ the 95F if I had the choice as I believe NEC to be a more reliable company.

I believe they both use the Samsung shadow mask, that's what I read on this forum anyway.

I've used the 95F for about 8 months now and really like the clarity and brightness of the screen. I run it at 1024x768 @90hz. I have not seen the 955DF so I can't compare the two. But, I've been very pleased with the 95F.

I recently bought the Samsung 955DF. Quite simply, I love it. I do lots of work on photoshop and bryce. I also play games with my Geforce 3. Most of the time I have it at 1152x864 or 1280x1024. There is no flicker or eye strain at these resolutions. I too wondered at the questionable 65 refresh rate at 1600, but then I never go there. For me the big factor was the two lines that sit across the screen if you are using an aperture grille. Ask yourself the question, "will this bother me?". I chose the Samsung because it really bothered me. If it doesn't, go with aperture gille technology. You get higher refresh rates and tighter dot pitch. Don't get too fooled by specs though. Try and see both monitors. Oh, and the SyncMaster...it's flat. I don't know how they do it, but it's flat.
