Monitor color configuration utility?

I'm looking for a program, tutorial, or color bars with instructions for setting the colors on my monitor. I will be doing graphics work on my 19" fd trinitron, and I also have another system with a 17" trinitron that seems to have a reddish hue.

I have the utilities on both systems to actually adjust the colors, but I need a way to know where exactly to set them to be at the correct color levels.
 
Colorific

This works very well. I use it to set the colors for my LCD (both laptop and desktop), though I have used it on both trinitrons and diamondtron screens as well.
