Has AnandTech written about color calibration? I'd love a roundup of hardware and software with recommended solutions in various price brackets (like ArsTechnica and TechReport do with their PC buyer guides). If not, can someone point me to good resources, or provide some advice about the topic?

My Equipment and Goals
I want to calibrate my TV (driven by my PC) and my home and work monitors. It is mostly for the aesthetic, but I also do some graphics work. I'm prepared to spend up to $400, although I'd rather keep well under $300.

Colors matter for Photoshop/Illustrator, photos, DVD & Blu-ray (Corel WinDVD 2010), and Netflix. Approximate color matching to our work laser printer is also desired, although I think that's a tall order. Netflix/HBOGo/Hulu video is generally much darker than other content on my PC which may complicate matters. Also, it would be nice to simulate various forms of colorblindness for my web design work.

At Home
Windows 7
Video Card: Sapphire 100259L Radeon HD 4870 512MB
TV: Panasonic TH-50PZ800U (very good by default, in my opinion)
Monitors x2: ViewSonic VP2365WB
Printer: Brother MFC-6490CW

At work
Windows Vista
Video Card: Sapphire 100291L Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) 512MB
Monitors x2: 20" IPS - Dell UltraSharp @ 1680 x 1050
Printer: HP CP4025n

Future Hardware
I am considering the HP ZR2740w, and I'm also tempted by the supposedly similar Crossover 27Q, which is in the family reviewed on AnandTech.

Questions
So, what do people think? Can anyone direct me to good references?
