Monitor coating scratch repair?

Help!
I somehow managed to scratch a significant portion of my screen while moving my monitor.
There is a significant area where the anti-reflective coating has been rubbed off, and two spots that are rough (I believe the surface is chipped).

Does anyone have any suggestions on repair options (grinding, fillers, etc...), or am I basically out of luck?
It's on a flat-screen CRT.
Thanks in advance.

that's the only method?

But, what if the glass is scratched, not the coating. There has to be some kind of filler. Anyone know of such?
