Monitor cleaning.

Hey all - I have a trinitron monitor with some sort of anti-glare/reflection coating on it, and it occurred to me that I have no clue what to clean the surface with. I spent about $600 on this puppy so I just want to make sure I use the right kind of cleaner. And what about the cloth? Just a soft, cotton cloth? Or will paper towel work?

Use a clean cotton cloth like a t-shirt that has not been washed/rinsed with fabric softner. Do not use a paper towel as it can scratch the coating. You can use eyeglass cleaner in the little squirt bottles.

RE:"I was just informed to make sure not use a cleaner with ammonia"

You have been informed correctly.
