I am wanting to purchase an LCD or CRT monitor.. preferably an LCD because Im limited on size but if I cant find one for my price range then that'll be ok...

What is the minumum for gaming and/or graphic with an lcd..
like
resolution and brightness and dot pitch etc...

and does anyone know of any deals with lcd's or some really great crt monitors...

This is the least of my concern but I really would like something stylish...
I dont want anyone to put any time into this but off the top of your head if you know of any please let me know...

thanks

You should list your budget, thats going to make a big difference in what people recommend. For LCDs I am very happy with my 19" Samsung 192t (I got it for $699). I game a lot and its great. For CRTs I got my Mitsu 2040u for about a grand, but that was quite awhile ago and I am sure the current models are cheaper. Its great and I like it a little bit more then my Sony G520P (got this one for around $750). But I prefer the LCD to both of those.

If you're going the way of the LCD, do not skimp.

I'm using a Samsung 152T (15" Lcd), it's not bad. For an average user/gamer like me... btw, this monitor's reviews scored better, especially in the Lcd refresh (trails, etc). My opinion is, this one's definitely better than Apple's G4 Lcd (older one).

You didn't mention your price range, but anyway, I got mine for around $300 (few months ago).

Samsung's website lists it as discontinued, so...

500 max but was really hoping to get something around 400...

ive seen some on toms hardware review and he recommened a 17 inch hyris from hercules
