Monitor - broken?

My monitor is doing some weird stuff. For one, 85 Hz looks as bad as 60 Hz. It hurts my eyes to watch this god damn thing. And secondly, it only works 1024x768x32 resolution. I can't switch the resolution! It looks like it doesn't anymore support other resolutions..
So the question is, is my monitor broke?
 
awww damn...I had hoped that it would be something else 😛 well, it seems that I have no option than to buy a new one.
